Aimee is super excited to be part of the Flock, sharing yoga and wellness with you all. She aims to create safe spaces for the community to tune into their mind/body, let go of doing and enjoy being.
With experience in events management, yoga soon became a way of balancing the frantic pace of her busy lifestyle, allowing her to dissolve the stress and tension that was stored in the body over time.
She then qualified as a Reiki practitioner and became passionate to share the gift of healing herself and others to empower and nurture one another, particularly looking at natural alternatives to support gut and skin health.
During her 200HR YTT, a great mind shared that ‘deep relaxation is the cure to humanity’ so expect a wholesome experience to release and unwind during her classes.Aimee love’s to encourage awareness of the breath to lead the body within a flowing sequence.
A real passion of Aimee’s is to connect and inspire one to feel good and choose positive actions along our journey of life.
Aimee will also be offering Reiki from our Therapies Annexe with her partner Blaise Penny-Kirkwood

Yoga has been a part of my life for over ten years.
Tired, stressed and disillusioned with busy city life in my early twenties, I first turned to yoga simply as a way to switch off.
I soon became addicted to that hour of peace on the mat, going to more & more classes and discovering yoga to be the key to regaining balance in my mental, physical and emotional health.
I completed my 200HR teacher training in Goa, India in 2017, enabling myself to share the gifts that yoga has given me to others.
My classes are authentic expressions of my personal experience and are rooted in traditional Hatha style; involving performing sets of physical postures as well as breathing and meditation techniques at more of a slower pace.
I regularly draw from my wider training in holistic health to show how yoga can be incorporated as a tool for everyday living; helping to relieve stress, improve focus, increase energy, and so much more.
I offer an inclusive and friendly approach in my teaching style, making yoga accessible to every and anybody.
Wellbeing Yoga – Sundays – 19:30
Debbie has trained in India and the UK, qualified as 500 hr RYT and has been teaching for over 9 years. She is excited to be joining the Flamingo Flock.
Her main aim in any Yoga class is for wellbeing and connection to self to be experienced. She delivers through breath practices, postures and guided relaxation.
Debbie’s previous career as a professional dancer and dance teacher inspired her passion for Yoga from a range of traditions, leading her to develop an interest in the connection between movement, breath and spirituality. She tends to work intuitively and loves to work with any ability from seasoned practitioners to beginners, so at her classes except to feel calm and find a sense of peace.
More recently she has noticed how people need to slow down from their busy lives and developed Restorative workshops where people get to truly relax and unwind using props and bolsters, verse and music.
Debbie recently trained in Shamanic Healing and is soon going to be offering healing sessions as part of her retreats and workshops.

Eve originally trained with the British Wheel of Yoga, my interest and enthusiasm has led me to study a variety of yoga styles with many well-respected teachers from across the world. I’ve been teaching yoga classes and workshops in and around Bristol and South Gloucestershire for nearly 25 years, working with all age groups and abilities.
More recently, my interest has gravitated towards working with older adults, and those with specific health-related conditions, such as MS, Fibromyalgia, Arthritis and Osteoporosis.
I’ve studied many styles of yoga and have specialist training in Gentle Years Yoga© and Yoga for Healthy Backs, both of which have undergone successful clinical trials and are recommended by many health-care professionals.
In addition to teaching, I run yoga teacher training courses and gentle years yoga teacher training for the BWY. I’ve had a life-long interest in health and well-being, and I’m a qualified Kinesiologist, with additional training in Anatomy and Physiology, Nutrition, and Counselling.

I am a Certified Yoga Teacher living and working in Bristol. My yoga practice has developed over the last nine years, inspired by caring, dedicated teachers. I have tried various yogic disciplines including Iyengar and Vinyasa Flow, yet I find myself repeatedly drawn back to Hatha and Restorative. My favourite classes are those that bring a sense of calm and relaxation to otherwise busy days.
After enjoying two Restorative Yoga Teacher Trainings I decided that I wanted to pursue my own style of teaching. I became a Certified Yoga Teacher with Yandara Yoga in Bali, where I gained a deeper understanding of myself and the teacher I wanted to be.
My Hatha Flow classes are aimed at beginners, but open to all levels and adapted accordingly. I aim to combine breath work with fun and sometimes challenging sequences, slowing down and finishing with meditation and relaxation.
My Restorative Yoga classes are for all levels. This is where you take time for yourself and slow down both physically and mentally. This relaxed and gentle approach is often a good counterpoint to more active exercise. It is also a beneficial antidote to stress.
In all my classes I ask students to listen to their bodies and practise mindfully, keeping awareness of their current physical state. Everyone can practise in a safe, fun and supportive environment.
Hilary is currently spending time travelling and practising with her teachers in India and will be teaching blocks of classes (plus sharing the Wednesday evening class with Karina) and workshops at The Flamingo Centre when she is at home in the UK.
Hilary’s first experience of Yoga Asana practice took place over 13 years ago in India. Having trained as a ballroom dancer she understood the connection between rhythm, breath and movement and quickly fell in love with challenging sequences of postures demanding focus, discipline and commitment. As her practice deepened she began to seek more knowledge of the rich philosophy of Yoga ‘beyond the Yoga mat’ and she continues to learn and grow travelling regularly to India.
Hilary has enjoyed many styles of Yoga including Iyengar, Hatha, Sivananda, Yin and Ashtanga Vinyasa. Hilary has completed both a residential, 200 hr immersion training course in India and a longer duration 200 hr UK based teacher training course (both registered with Yoga Alliance UK/USA). She also attends regular CPD workshops. Her classes are a hybrid of styles based on her personal practice and experience. Most importantly, she tries to ensure that her classes are true to the devotional practice of Yoga, as she is; Hilary has a daily, early morning practice.

When practiced regularly, with sincerity and commitment this influences our behaviours in life generally and our consideration for others. My name is Karina and I have been teaching yoga for 3 years. For my training I completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Course and a 60-hour Teen Yoga Course. I teach in primary and secondary schools with staff and students of all ages, so I am very excited to start teaching Yoga classes at the Flamingo Centre!

I started practicing Yoga in 2002 after my partner passed away. Through Yoga I found a way to manage my grief, connect to my breath and start to heal. Yoga has been part of my life since, helping to manage life’s ups and downs, including two pregnancies.
I find a huge joy through practicing and love to share this with others. I offer a friendly, innovative and nurturing approach to Yoga, My classes are accessible to all from complete beginners to regular practitioners. I work with you and your practice. Be prepared to go to your edge and be supported with every breath.
I am a 200 hr qualified Yoga Alliance teacher in Vinyassa and Hot Yoga. I am also qualified in Pregnancy and Postnatal Yoga through Poppy Perinatal.
