In this class i guide you through meditation, pranayama and classical Hatha asanas which flow from one to another with some pauses for breath work, added instruction and demonstration. You will have the opportunity to build your practice, working on developing your strength and flexibility along with balance and control. Practicing yoga has shown me that it’s not about what it looks like on the outside, but how it feels on the inside and I love guiding people towards this feeling of nourishment from the inside out.

The Flamingo Centre is a purpose built wellness space in Westbury on Trym. It’s cosy yoga studio is equipped with mats, props, blankets and eye pillows all which make a yoga class beautifully comfortable. All you need to do is book and rock up.

I have been in the fitness industry working as a Personal Trainer for almost a decade helping people find their way along their health and fitness journey. I love working 1 to 1 with people and have had great joy helping people find their inner confidence but I found myself searching for more. I had dabbled in yoga for years and then started seriously and wholeheartedly practicing around two years ago. During a particularly deep Shavasana after quite an intense practice I had an epiphany… this is what I had been searching for. After spending years playing competitive sport, swimming, running and lifting weights, Yoga completely changed my outlook. I travelled to a little Yoga school in Tenerife and completed an intensive 200 hours of teacher training in Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga. It was been completely life changing for me. Yoga has helped me to become considerably stronger yet softer, more balanced physically and emotionally and more consciously aware. These benefits have made me better able to break through perceived personal limitations and I feel great joy when I get to share this insight and guide people through their practice, hoping that they too can feel the bliss that Yoga brings.
