Doodlers (5 – 15 yrs)

Doodlers is an Art and Craft workshop for children aged 5-15! (under 8s sometimes will need parental supervision depending on the make) We create all sorts of exciting crafts and develop your art skills through a relaxed, instruction led workshop. From woodwork, to sculpture (ceramics, wicker…), textiles, painting and drawing each workshop is unique and fun.

Elise is an ex- primary school teacher, specialising in creativity (I still do consultancy work with Primary schools to help them develop and enrich their curriculum) her original degree was in multi-media textile design before qualifying in Primary teaching over 12 years ago.

The workshops are fun, relaxed and friendly, you will learn and develop as an artist and go home with something you are really proud of. But mostly they are just great fun.

Each workshop costs £12 for 2 hours.

Please contact Elise for more details and to book.

Elise established Oodle Doodle Art in/around 2006 after closing her gallery on Park Street, Bristol and heading off to become a Primary School teacher. She offers bespoke creative art workshops for children and adults in and around Bristol, as well as personally tailored art and craft workshop parties.
Elise is offering 3 classes here on the 3rd Saturday of each month.

Elise is a qualified ex-primary school teacher (left in Feb 2019) and currently run a childminding business called Oodles Childcare from Monday-Thursday. She also does creative consultancy work for Primary Schools in Bristol and is passionate about anything creative.
Elise has previously had a rewarding career as a textile artist, after qualifying from Loughborough University in 1999 from a Multi Media Textile Design degree. She has run an art and craft business and art gallery and collective (love getting creative minds involved) – The Leeky Gallery for over five years where she did lots of collaborative work with some of Bristol’s finest Artists, Craftspeople and Graffiti Artists. She is fully enhanced CRB checked and have an up to date certificate in Paediatric First Aid.
She’s a bit greedy when it comes to Workshops, as she loves it all so offers a wide variety in a relaxed, friendly environment where the emphasis is on developing/learning new skills but mostly just having fun.
