Yoga

Kate is one of three new Yoga teachers joining The Flock. She’s teaching both Pregnancy (Tuesdays 19:00) and Postnatal (Tuesdays 11:30) classes.

I started practicing Yoga in 2002 after my partner passed away. Through Yoga I found a way to manage my grief, connect to my breath and start to heal. Yoga has been part of my life since, helping to manage life’s ups and downs, including two pregnancies.

I find a huge joy through practicing and love to share this with others. I offer a friendly, innovative and nurturing approach to Yoga, My classes are accessible to all from complete beginners to regular practitioners. I work with you and your practice. Be prepared to go to your edge and be supported with every breath.

I am a 200 hr qualified Yoga Alliance teacher in Vinyassa and Hot Yoga. I am also qualified in Pregnancy and Postnatal Yoga through Poppy Perinatal.

Please welcome Karina to The Flock.
Karina will be teaching Mondays 20:00, Tuesdays 20:30 & Wednesday (shared class with Hilary) 20:30 classes plus a Parent & Toddler class on Fridays  at 11:00

My name is Karina and I have been teaching yoga for 3 years. For my training I completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Course and a 60-hour Teen Yoga Course. I teach in primary and secondary schools with staff and students of all ages, so I am very excited to start Parent and Toddler and adult Restorative Yoga classes at the Flamingo Centre!
My own yoga practice was inspired by my mum when I was 18, but really took off when I was working as a Geography teacher, helping me unwind and increase my flexibility more than I thought possible. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to exchange teaching coastal erosion for poses and breathing!
I aim to adapt my classes to include everyone, so if you are looking to have some fun with your toddler, increase your mobility/flexibility, explore mindfulness and wellbeing or just chill out and unwind for an hour then please come along!
Please welcome Louise to The Flock!
Louise will be teaching Dynamic Yoga on Sunday & Thursday evenings plus Kids Yoga & Mindfulness during Easter holidays, followed by a weekly kids Yoga class starting on Thursday April 25th.
I am Louise and I am thrilled to be starting weekly Yoga classes at the Flamingo center this Spring. I have been fascinated by Yoga for over 20 years, and have been lucky enough to study with some of the best teachers in Bristol and London.
I am passionate that Yoga can be enjoyed at any age and over the last 6 years I have taught students between the ages of 2 – 82!
Kids can expect stories, music and games that help them better understand their emotions while building strength and confidence.
For adults, I offer a simple yet challenging practice that is suitable for all students and will leave you relaxed and rejuventated.
My style is professional authentic and fun and everyone is welcome.
